Tell that man who productively engages his hands and head,
That of a certainty, he shall in no way ever, ever lack bread!
His barn shall undoubtedly be well built and be full of corn,
In times of famine, his neighbors shall not laugh him to scorn!
Give that man an assurance, who will diligently till his ground,
That he shall be well fed and in his house food shall abound!
Say unto him that hunger shall have no cause to do him harm,
Because he's brave and has summoned courage to go to the farm!
Beat the drum of hope into the ears of him that is very diligent,
Encourage him, appreciate him - to eulogize him, be not negligent!
That way, he will do more for himself and then for our world,
And discouragement shall not pierce his spirit like a sword!

Widow in The Hollow of God's Hands.
WIDOW IN THE HOLLOW OF GOD'S HANDS.
No widow is an alien to sorrow; but the ones that truly know their God rest in the joy of a brighter tomorrow!
And they know that God who takes care of the sparrow will surely take care of them, so much more- to lend to people and never to borrow!
A godly widow knows that if God hides the little fishes in waters that flow in a furrow, that same God will shelter her, and she has the assurance that rain and sun shall not beat her to cause a furrow in her brow.
Weep no more, O widow, for your God is alive and mighty to keep you- today, tomorrow and forever! In the hollow of His hands will He hide you, all the day and night long and through the years! Your children will He also keep to grow to become your fruitful reward and their dreams shall never be hung in the galow!

Talk the Talk and Walk the Talk!
On the 28th of September, 2004 (On this day, 11 years ago!), while in my final year in the University as an undergraduate, I organized a two-day Seminar on "Creative Thinking" and I was the Host Speaker.
About 110 people attended the Seminar on the 1st day- including a Professor (the Guest Speaker); one of my Lecturers; two practicing Engineers; An Accountant; a Secondary School Student; a young high school leaver; Medical students; Law students; Engineering students; Basic Medical Science Students; Maths Students; Agric Students- etc...-cutting accross various departments of that Campus.
On the 1st day, that 28th September,2004, I spoke on: "The Power of Thoughts and Creative Thinking"
Here are some salient points from that Speech:
"Thoughts are silent conversations going on right between our subconscious mind and our conscious mind"
"Thoughts have changed the world; is changing the world; and will continue to change the world, into whatever God has planned it to be!"
"Through the power of thoughts, man has touched the depths of the oceans; the sky and outer space have witnessed the power of thoughts."
"Through the power of thought, you can travel back into your past; and through it, you can travel into your future"
"The subconscious mind synthesizes thoughts; the conscious mind analyzes thoughts. As the subconscious synthesizes, the conscious does the analysis of the thoughts: The conscious mind asks- is that reasonable, realistic...?.etc.."
"There are such things as 'reasonable thinking', 'realistic thinking', 'negative thinking', 'positive thinking', 'creative thinking', and even, 'destructive thinking'!"
"Do not allow your conscious mind to always tear down the thoughts that your subconscious mind generates, by over analyzing and through premature judgment!"
"Picture in your mind the able, earnest, useful person you desire to be, and the thought you hold is hourly transforming you into that particular individual you so admire."- Elbert Hubbard.
"If you don't use your brain to think, your brain will shrink!"
"As you think, act; as you act, think!- Thinking-Acting and Acting-Thinking."
"Creative thinking is the ability to capture the thoughts that is being generated in your subconscious mind and bring them to your conscious mind in order to solve a given problem or develop a 'new' concept."
"The Power of God for Creativity: where do good thoughts come from? Who is the Originator of good thoughts? I believe good thoughts come from God, which when men make good use of, can be for the betterment of the lot of mankind on earth."
That was 11 years ago, BUT I still use these principles till this very day. Now, talk is cheap, REALLY CHEAP- I know that very well! So I have always try not just to, as they say, talk the talk, but also to walk the talk!
I have been writing a book for the past 12 years and I have not published it, because I want to first WALK MY TALK!
And I thank God, I have good experiences to share: Today, I am the Area Business Manager (South-South, South-East, Nigeria) of a Multinational Pharmaceutical Company (present in over 60 countries of the world). A position I have been holding and growing in, close to four years now.
In June, this year, I was in Nairobi, Kenya, to receive an Excellence Award from the CEO/Director of the Company I work with and also to experience the wild life of Kenya- beautiful experience!
I also have a blog www.hellotoexcellence.blogspot.com where I share my Inspirational thoughts with the world!
I have given Inspirational Speeches to Secondary School Students, Undergraduates, National Youth Service Corp Members, Sub- Ordinates..etc...
My 1st Book will SOON go to the press!
Most importantly, I am married with two kids (Joan and Joshua).
And of GREATER Importance, I am BORN AGAIN!!!
And, Excellence is a NEVER ENDING Journey, I am still SAILING!!!
Looking back to a day like this, 28th September, 11 years ago, and all that I have been through- the highs and the lows; the ups and downs- I can't but just give all the GLORY UNTO THE LORD!

My heart bleeds for men that are conquered by greed!
I plead with them to see the need to be freed from greed!
I want them to know that God has enough for men's needs, but not for their greed!
Let them heed this warning:
The seeds of greed that they sow will grow to become evil weeds which will endanger their own souls and the souls of their children and even children's children's!!
Beware of greed!!!

*Disease of greed
*Grabbing beyond needs
*Eating the future's seeds
*What a world body
*That belongs to somebody!

God's Rain For Life's Gain
Grain by grain
As we pick our seeds,
And pray for God's rain
Sowing day by day, good deeds,
Our labour shall not go down the drain
And our garden won't be killed by weeds
We won't labour in vain
As we embrace good creeds
And daily develop our brains
As we constantly consume mental feeds
God 'll definitely give us our life's gains

We shall not live in pain
If we remember to shun greed
And pursue not the minor but the main
Let us, against evil ambitions, take heed

The Discomfort of The Comfort Zone:
1. Complacency (no desire to grow or become more);
2. Limitation ( there is restriction to speed and success);
3. Short-Sightedness (long range vision is hampered);
4. Smallness ( there is barrier to becoming big);
5. Tightness ( space is chocked);
6. Frustrations ( concentration halted by distractions);
7. Degeneration ( regeneration is hindered);
8. Stagnation ( movement is also restricted);
9. Deterioration ( self-improvement made impossible)
10. Death ( living is cut short!)
You don't want any of the above to happen to you!
Do you??
So, I CHARGE YOU, GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE, NOW!!!

Story from my Brain's Topmost Storey: Here, I Belong!
Dear WORDCRAFT,
Great men, indeed, THINK ALIKE!
That's just what I can say.
I have always been a lover of words! I MEAN, I JUST LOVE WORDS!! I once divided the people of the world into two groups: those who love words and those who love numbers- and I belong to the former!
More than just loving words, I love to also play with words; I love rhymes, alliteration, puns, and of course, POEMS. I am and aspiring INSPIRATIONAL POET!
I thought up wordsmith, without having ever, (and God is my witness, I MEAN I HAVE NEVER) heard or read about it anywhere; then, 10 years later, while hanging out with a community of poets, BAM, I heard the word I had thought up and wrote about 10 years earlier!
Then, I said to myself, I must create another word for myself, all by myself! So, just about 2 months ago, I thought up the word, WORDCRAFT, (in fact, while typing the word, microsoft word was 'red-underlining' it, showing that, that was was strange!); and I said, that is it! In fact I had even written a write-up with the title, "WordCraft's Wisdom" - it can be read on my blog, which I published, a couple of months back! About Two months later, I thought to myself, let me Google it, to see if anyone had ever written anything like that. And then, again, BAM! The website popped up. WORDCRAFT! A group of LOVERS OF WORDS, I would like to say!
I am SPEECHELESS! I just have to write to join this group on this day, 31st of July, 2015 from Port Harcourt City, Nigeria, West Africa!

Excel In The Land and Fear Not!
When in the land of excellence, you are surrounded by a band of excellent people, and you allow yourself to hold the banner of excellence up so high; you must surely leave an indelible foot-print on the sand of time!

Morning Dew is falling!
The morning dew is falling, is falling!
Falling to wash away yesterday's stain
And uplift us for a spiral upward rising
It says, 'forget the past', for life's gain!
The first bright hour of the dawning day
Comes with divine blessings from God
Ev'ryday of the week-Sunday to Saturday
As we lift our voices to God in one accord

Daylight is here!
The yesterday's darkness has faded away
The mighty force of daylight is here again
Now must we carry out opportunities assay
And see every obstacle to progress in disdain!
Wake up, friend; the fresh morning is calling
Pointing at you with such an assurance and hope
The vast resources available today, there is no telling
Clear your eyes, see the wide horizon's scope!
Refreshed by night rest, your spirit is renewed
So, stand up, dress up and look up with new zeal
Receive strength from God for your bones and sinews
The pain of yesterday has now been healed!

I long to dwell in the holy city in the high
The very abode of God the Most High
Where I will have no cause to ever sigh
There, God shall draw my spirit nigh
It is a place I will never, never grow old
The joy and happiness there is untold!
The streets there are tarred with gold
Indeed, a land for the freed and the bold!
Qualify me, Oh Lord to dwell in this land
The beautiful home not made with sand
Make me possess clean heart and hands
To be worthy to, before thy throne, stand
There, all pains and sorrows shall be past
There will be no hunger nor need to fast
Earthly worries and woes behind us, cast
There, we shall be freed and freed at last!

I am excited like a groom with a new wife
As I daily soar very high like the eagle
This is always my earnest desire in life
I 'll excel and not continue to struggle!
I am expectant like a pregnant woman
As I explore through my inner potential
This I do daily as I strive to be a real man
And I will in life pursue only the essential!
I'm exempted from worry like a new born
As I trust in the providence of my Lord

As I place my hands on the parchment
Using the modern abundant fountain ink
And the versatile high tech mobile pen
That the ancient writers did not have
Even the keypad of my mobile device
In the cyberspace of the global village
My mind is racing back and forth
Brightened by the Inspiration of the divine
On the land, in the sea and in the air
Wherever I shall daily find myself
I will seek the wisdom that comes from above
Every day of the year, from January to Deccember
I will pen down words that stir the hearts of men
To seek for and live a life that count
I shall be a Wordcraft even in aircraft
Till I shall die empty and be gathered
To the noble souls in the congregation of heaven
And the world will be happy I passed through here!

When life hits you so hard

O CHILD! May 27th, 2015.
O child, our hope and our joy,
Don't play with your life like toy,
Whether you're a girl or a boy,
Allow no one, your future, to destroy!
O child, please, use your brain well,
Your great destiny no one can tell,
Announce your decision with a bell,
Ring it: I'll allow no one, my future, to sell!
O child, always remember God,
Let Him always ok your actions with a nod,
Don't allow God to use on your back, a rod,
Daily bind yourself to heaven with prayer cord.
O child, be obedient, now and always,
In all the months, including Decembers and Mays,
So shall you live long on earth and see many days,
And upon your paths in life shall shine, light rays.

- "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle.The Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary meaning of excellence, stuck in my brain since I checked it over ten years ago,( if my memory serves me right, and I trust God it does) states: the quality of being extremely good. Good definition! I have however come with my own definition of excellence. Here it is: It is a state of never ending improvement in order to become the best, not as compared to other people, but as compared to your own inner potentials deposited within you. (comparing what you are to what you could be, and striving to become better and better, daily, until you become the BEST, when who you are matches who you could be- and that is never ending!)Our competition for Excellence, then, is not with others but with our own selves! Outer self competing with the inner self! You excel your previous performances, daily. When you would have done this consistently, that is to have attained excellence.As for the great potentials deposited within each of us to daily compare ourselves with, as we daily strive to attain excellence, I bring to you the words of Orison Swett Marden: "Deep within man dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish him, that he never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize his life, if aroused and put into action."Let's say Hello to Excellence!!!

The Reward of Initiative
"The world bestows its BIG PRIZES both in money and honours for but one thing, and that is, INITIATIVE. And what is initiative? I'll tell you: it is doing the right thing without being told"- Elbert Hubbard.
Very true! Here's a short story to illustrate that. I once parked my car outside and office where I entered to carry out a transaction. Before I finished, the security man had cleaned the car, with the tyres looking shiny black! He did not request for any amount, but I just had to pay him two times what I would have ordinarily paid. The Reward of Initiative: BIG PRIZES!
Now, that was on a small scale. Do you know the big prizes you can possibly win in life, in your career or job, if you just take initiative? Take INITIATIVE today, as you say, Hello to Excellence!

'Disruptious' Awakening!
'Disruptious' Awakening: We all naturally have the tendency to remain in a state of rest or be in constant motion even if it is getting us nowhere. It's like the very nature itself enjoys rest or motion! But getting somewhere (a great and good place) is more rewarding than the motion or the rest. We all need what I call 'Disruptious' Awakening to constantly assess our progress in life. We must consciously CREATE 'Disruptious' Awakening to avoid what John Wooden advised against here: "Do not confuse motion and progress. A rocking horse keeps moving but does not make any progress."
